2011′s Fastest Finisher – Jack Clarkson

About The Event

Since the event’s first inception in 2004 we have striven to adapt our route to try and incorporate as much legal off-road riding as we possibly can. Over the intervening years our commitment has paid off handsomely as we have continued to develop the route and have secured access to several additional sections. These sections provide some added variety for our returning participants and complement the rest of the route nicely. As a bonus, one of the original, evil tarmac climbs has bitten the dust!

The 30 mile route is a mixture of demanding off road terrain, local roads and lanes, set around the picturesque, post-industrial countryside of the Colne Valley in Huddersfield.

The course travels through the heart of the “Last of the Summer Wine” and “Where the Heart Is” country. The event is open to anyone aged 12 or over, however under 16′s must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. Riders of all abilities are welcomed, but are reminded that although this is primarily a fun event, the course is challenging.

This is a fundraising event in support of the 39th Parkwood Scout Group and Leymoor Cricket Club, Golcar.
