The Colne Valley Mountain Bike Challenge is a personal challenge which takes place annually on public roads, lanes and bridleways, as well as private tracks and land. In order to access the private land on the DAY OF THE EVENT ONLY the organisers require special permission from a number of different bodies. Therefore, anyone attempting to ride the route outside of the official event is potentially eroding the good will of the landowners and jeopardising future events. We hope you will understand that this is a situation that we feel is best avoided and because of this we would actively discourage riders from pre-riding the course.
As a result we do not under any circumstances publish the route online prior to the event. We would also like to request that participants please refrain from uploading their own GPS files of the event to publically available online resources.
